Cultural Intelligence Assessments, Coaching, and Training

Cultural Intelligence (CQⓇ) is one’s “capability to function effectively in intercultural contexts, including different national, ethnic, organizational, generational, and many other contexts” (Livermore, 2015, pp. ix–x). CQ is based on extensive and rigorous academic research and used across multiple industries to promote excellent leadership practice.

CQ can be utilized and developed by anyone who wishes to become more skillful in successfully working across cultural differences. Further, as explained by the Cultural Intelligence Center, it is “the foundation and strategic link to creating diverse, inclusive and equitable work environments.

As a CQ Certified Facilitator, Dr. Brian Arao administers CQ Assessments and provides coaching and training on their results for individuals and teams who want to increase their capacity to lead for diversity, inclusion, and belonging and more effectively advance equity and social justice within their communities and organizations.

  • The CQ 360° Assessment provides you with individually-tailored insights into your strengths and areas for growth within the CQ model, based both on your own ratings and anonymous ratings from others

  • The CQ Pro Assessment is similar to the 360 option, but the results are based only on self ratings.

In addition to an individual insights report, both the CQ 360 and CQ Pro offer an optional group-level report which aggregates data to provide insights about a team's CQ.
